This is the place for the conversations that do not fit an ad: what to feed, which vet to trust, why your parrot has stopped talking, whether that bakra is really two years old.

Six rules, and they are short on purpose.

  • Be useful or be quiet. "Nice cat" adds nothing. "Nice cat, is that mange on the ear?" starts something.
  • No selling here. Post the ad on the marketplace and link it if someone asks.
  • No animal fighting content. Not dogs, not roosters, not partridges. No exceptions.
  • A vet is a vet. Share what worked for you, but nobody here can diagnose your animal over the internet. If it is bleeding, seizing, bloated or not breathing right, stop typing and go.
  • Real experience beats a copy-paste. If you read it somewhere, say where.
  • Urdu, Roman Urdu and English are all fine. Write however you actually talk.

Flag anything that breaks this and a moderator will look. If you think the moderator got it wrong, say so in Site Feedback — publicly is fine.

"Be useful or be quiet" — please actually enforce this one. Every pet group I have been in died the same way: forty people posting "cute" under a photo and nobody answering the person whose kitten has stopped eating.

Good that Urdu and Roman Urdu are allowed. Half the farmers who actually know something about mastitis or FMD will not post a word if they think their English is going to be judged.

Agreed on the no-fighting rule but it needs to cover the sale posts too. There are people selling dogs here with "game line" and "khandani fighter" written in the ad and everyone pretends that means something else.

Can we add something about selling puppies and kittens under 8 weeks? It is the single most common thing that ends with a dead animal and a first-time owner who never keeps a pet again. Right now the rules cover selling here but say nothing about what gets posted on the marketplace side.
